Job Description:
Manage enterprise databases to maintain availability, performance, security, and data integrity. Install and configure Oracle or SQL Server, tune queries, maintain backups and recovery procedures, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with developers on schemas and data models.

Important Skills to Cover:
1.Database Administration
Production administration of Oracle or SQL Server; installation, configuration and maintenance. Confirm which platform Anblicks needs most.
2.SQL and Performance
Complex SQL, stored procedures, query optimization and diagnosis of database performance issues.
3.Backup and Recovery
Backup/recovery tools, recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning.
4.Security and Integrity
Database access/security policies, data integrity and awareness of compliance standards such as GDPR.
5.Production Support
Incident troubleshooting, monitoring and collaboration on schemas and data models.

Preferred Skills:
Cloud databases such as Azure SQL Database or Snowflake; NoSQL such as MongoDB or DynamoDB; database automation and monitoring tools.
