Role: Senior Data Engineer with Automotive Manufacturing Domain

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)/Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), with the ability to analyse manufacturing data, optimize reporting solutions, and collaborate with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for Production, Quality, Logistics, OEE, Traceability, and other manufacturing KPIs.
SQL Development & Data Analysis: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract, validate, and analyse manufacturing data.
Data Engineering: Design and support data models, ETL processes, and data integration from manufacturing systems.
Performance Optimization: Optimize SQL queries, Tableau workbooks, and data models to ensure high-performance reporting solutions.
Manufacturing Analytics: Analyse manufacturing data to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support business decision-making.
Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, manufacturing stakeholders, and Data Engineers to understand business requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
Data Quality: Validate data, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across source systems and BI platforms.
Maintenance & Support: Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and analytics solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Essential Skills
SQL Server: Strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Query Optimization, and Performance Tuning.
Tableau: Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud, Tableau Prep, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
MES/MOM Knowledge: Good understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and manufacturing business processes. Experience with Siemens OpCenter is preferred.
Data Engineering: Experience with Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, ETL concepts, and manufacturing data integration.
Business Intelligence: Understanding of reporting, KPI development, and enterprise analytics solutions.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with experience analysing large manufacturing datasets.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
