Location: ONSITE- Phoenix, AZ or Westlake,CA

Role: Scrum Lead  with experience in Mortgage, lending banking Domain

Descriptions:

"Key Responsibilities
1.      Build the Agile Transformation from Scratch
•       Conduct enterprise discovery through stakeholder interviews, delivery-data review, team observations, and value-stream assessment.
•       Baseline current Agile maturity, organizational constraints, delivery bottlenecks, cultural barriers, and readiness for change.
•       Define the transformation vision, guiding principles, scope, success measures, governance, and phased roadmap.
•       Design a fit-for-purpose Agile operating model covering roles, team topology, ceremonies, decision rights, portfolio alignment, and enterprise governance.
•       Identify pilot value streams and teams, define entry and exit criteria, and guide pilots through launch, stabilization, learning, and scale-out.
•       Establish an Agile Center of Excellence or coaching community to create standards, playbooks, learning paths, reusable assets, and internal coaching capacity.
•       Create a sustainable adoption model that transitions ownership from external coaching to leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and internal champions.
2. Executive and Organizational Coaching
•       Coach executives and senior leaders on servant leadership, product thinking, outcome orientation, lean governance, and behaviors required for transformation.
•       Facilitate leadership alignment workshops, transformation steering forums, roadmap reviews, and impediment-removal sessions.
•       Coach leaders to shift from project output and utilization measures toward customer value, business outcomes, quality, predictability, and flow.
•       Partner with HR, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, Procurement, and Operations to remove structural barriers to Agile adoption.
3. Team, Product, and Delivery Coaching
•       Coach Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile delivery leads, and cross-functional teams in backlog management, prioritization, refinement, estimation, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
•       Help teams clarify product vision, customer outcomes, value hypotheses, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.
•       Improve delivery flow by addressing dependencies, work in progress, handoffs, quality constraints, technical debt, and release friction.
•       Guide teams in selecting Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid practices based on the nature of work while preserving Agile principles.
•       Build communities of practice for Product Ownership, Scrum Mastery, Engineering Excellence, Quality, and Agile Leadership.
4. Digital Transformation Leadership
•       Connect the Agile transformation to the digital strategy and translate transformation themes into prioritized, executable roadmaps.
•       Guide multidisciplinary teams delivering digital customer journeys, cloud migration, application modernization, data and analytics, automation, AI/GenAI, and platform initiatives.
•       Promote product and platform operating models that provide persistent ownership, reusable capabilities, and measurable business value.
•       Enable discovery-to-delivery practices such as design thinking, customer research, minimum viable products, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and incremental releases.
•       Partner with architecture, engineering, security, data, and operations teams to embed DevSecOps, automated quality, observability, and production readiness.
5. Metrics, Governance, and Continuous Improvement
•       Define a balanced measurement framework covering business outcomes, customer value, flow, quality, predictability, team health, adoption, and capability growth.
•       Use metrics such as lead time, cycle time, throughput, work-in-progress, escaped defects, release frequency, predictability, and outcome realization to drive learning, not individual performance evaluation.
•       Create transparent transformation dashboards and executive-level reporting that highlight progress, risks, impediments, decisions, and benefits.
•       Integrate Agile delivery with risk, regulatory, audit, security, financial, and change-control obligations without recreating unnecessary stage gates.
•       Run periodic maturity reassessments and retrospectives, then adjust the roadmap based on evidence and stakeholder feedback.
6. Change Enablement and Capability Building
•       Develop stakeholder maps, change-impact assessments, communication plans, role-based learning journeys, and adoption interventions.
•       Design and facilitate workshops, boot camps, simulations, leadership sessions, and practical coaching engagements.
•       Identify resistance patterns and address them through listening, data, experimentation, leadership sponsorship, and local change champions.
•       Mentor internal coaches and practitioners and establish clear capability expectations for Agile roles."

"•      Proven 15+ yrs experience designing and leading an Agile transformation from inception, including discovery, maturity assessment, roadmap creation, pilots, scaling, and sustainment.
•       Experience coaching executives, business leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, delivery managers, and cross-functional teams.
•       Strong command of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe or other enterprise scaling approaches, with the ability to tailor practices to organizational context.
•       Demonstrated digital transformation experience across customer experience, operating model, process redesign, cloud, data, AI/GenAI, automation, enterprise applications, and digital channels.
•       Ability to establish product-centric delivery, value streams, portfolio governance, outcome-based planning, and lean funding principles.
•       Experience defining Agile maturity models, transformation KPIs, flow metrics, OKRs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
•       Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, API management, microservices, platform engineering, security, testing automation, and modern SDLC practices.
•       Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Mortgage, Lending, Payments, or another regulated industry.
•       Practical experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, ServiceNow, Power BI, or equivalent delivery and reporting platforms.
•       Excellent facilitation, change leadership, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and executive communication skills.
•       Proven experience leading Cloud Transformation, AI/GenAI initiatives, Digital Transformation programs, and Enterprise Business Application delivery.
•       Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and cloud-native architectures.
•       Experience managing AI/ML, GenAI, automation, analytics, and data-driven initiatives.
•       Demonstrated success delivering complex enterprise business applications, platform modernization, API integrations, and digital banking solutions.
•       Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or other regulated industries.
•       Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent Agile certification.
•       Preferred Qualifications
•       Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered business solutions, Data & AI platforms, and cloud modernization programs.
•       Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, API Management, Microservices, Kubernetes, and modern SDLC practices.
•       Strong understanding of enterprise application portfolios including ERP, CRM, Workflow, Digital Channels, and Banking Platforms.
•       Experience leading Agile transformations at scale within SAFe or enterprise Agile environments."
