Work you'll do
- Perform Business Analyst responsibilities for Reinsurance Pricing applications, supporting the Reinsurance Underwriting and Actuarial Business Teams.
- Gathering requirements and documenting Functional Specifications and User Interface documentation.
- Documenting as-is and to-be business processes using Microsoft Visio.
- Acting as the liaison between Business and IT.
- Collaborating with internal teams for analyzing cross-functional impacts and defining requirements.
- Providing support for QA testing, User Acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
- Managing the backlog of enhancement requests in JIRA. Working with Business to prioritize enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-8 years Business Analyst experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years working in Insurance P&C or Reinsurance. Ability to demonstrate solid Insurance or Reinsurance Business Acumen.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, prioritizing requirements, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Strong attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders on new initiatives.
- Knowledge of Pricing Processes and Applications a plus
