Middleware MQ Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement middleware solutions using technologies such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Configure and maintain middleware infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitor middleware systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with middleware services.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect middleware systems from unauthorized access.
  • Document middleware configurations and processes for reference and training purposes.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in middleware and integration.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Experience with middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
