Drupal DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Drupal DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, maintenance, and automation of Drupal-based web applications and legacy web technologies. This role will manage CI/CD processes, source code, configuration, infrastructure, patching, monitoring, and production deployments across Linux and Kubernetes environments. The engineer will collaborate closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Solution Architecture, and vendor teams to ensure secure, reliable, and highly available web platforms.

Position Responsibilities

·        Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.

·        Automate application deployment and configuration using Ansible and infrastructure-as-code practices.

·        Configure and deploy Drupal/PHP applications across development, QA, and production environments.

·        Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes-based application deployments.

·        Coordinate and implement Drupal, Linux, and container image patches and updates.

·        Lead production deployments, including change requests, deployment/rollback plans, testing, and release coordination.

·        Develop and maintain monitoring, centralized logging, and application performance solutions.

·        Troubleshoot application and infrastructure performance issues and recommend optimization strategies.

·        Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Linux, VMware/Tanzu, and Drupal vendor teams.

·        Maintain Git repositories, branching, tagging, merging, and release processes.

·        Document DevOps, CI/CD, deployment, and operational procedures in SharePoint.

Position Qualifications

·        3–5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, deployment, automation, administration, and monitoring.

·        3+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.

·        3 years of hands-on experience with Ansible or equivalent automation tools.

·        1–3 years of Linux systems administration experience.

·        3+ years of experience with Docker/containerization and Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.

·        Hands-on experience with Drupal CMS, PHP, and Drupal application deployment/support.

·        Experience with Git/source code management and software release processes.

·        Experience with web technologies including Memcached, Varnish, Load Balancers, Solr, and CDNs.

·        Experience deploying applications in PaaS/IaaS cloud environments.

·        Strong understanding of Linux administration, containerization, automation, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.

·        Familiarity with Agile/Scrum SDLC practices.

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline.
