Join our team as a Full Stack Software Developer and help build the internal applications that power General Atomics' operations. You'll work across the entire technology stack-from database design to front-end interfaces developing scalable solutions that streamline processes and enhance productivity for teams across the company. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional partners, leverage modern development tools and AI technologies, and make a tangible impact on how GA employees work every day.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain internal web applications across the full stack

  • Build backend services and APIs using modern frameworks (e.g., Ruby on Rails or C#/.NET)
  • Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
  • Develop automation solutions to streamline internal processes and reduce manual effort
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across production and non-production environments
  • Maintain clear and concise technical documentation

We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Ansible, Artifactory)
  • Familiarity of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tooling (e.g., prompt engineering, API integration, AI-assisted workflows, Claude Code)
  • Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)
