About the Role:
Client is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our MS 365 environment, ensuring seamless operations, security, and user adoption. You will work closely with Senior Platform Engineers to maintain a reliable and efficient collaboration ecosystem for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration: Administer, implement, and support the ms 365 platform with a primary focus on Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams.
System Maintenance: Manage and maintain system configurations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance.
Technical Documentation: Create, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a subject matter expert to actively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within the M365 suite.
Compliance & Security: Collaborate with IT and Security teams to enforce policies, review security configurations, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
User Guidance: Work directly with end users to promote best practices, optimize collaboration, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Continuous Improvement: Review published technology roadmaps and technical documents from MS OFFICE to assess impacts and communicate necessary changes to the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
MS Office Ecosystem Expertise: Proven administrative or engineering experience within the MS office ecosystem.
Core Platform Knowledge: Strong, working understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams.
Holistic View: A wholistic understanding of the MS 365 platform and how its components interact.
Documentation Skills: Ability to clearly document technical processes, procedures, and system architectures.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer experience.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex technical documents and translate them into actionable plans or impact analyses.
Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently on tasks as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
