Position SummaryWe are seeking a Data Scientist to join the SI Analytics team, supporting building campaigns and member outreach for our behavioral health portfolio. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in data science and analytics and cross-functional collaboration.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, validate and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making
- Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve moderately complex business problems
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to facilitate campaign launches and data integration that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs
- Use data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions
- Create and evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data
- Communicate data findings and analysis results to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable way
- Document projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, detailed set of results and analytical metrics
This role may work onsite 2 days a week in one of CVS Health's core hubs in: NYC.
Required Qualifications- 1+ year experience (intern experience is relevant) in analytics or programming
- 1+ year experience with SQL
- 1+ year experience programming with Python
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Google BigQuery and Apache Airflow
- Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur
- Demonstrates proficiency in several areas of data modeling, machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, data engineering and data visualization
Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Master's degree preferred

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$86,520.00 - $173,040.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
