Position: Cloud Solutions Architect – Databricks & AWS (Banking/Capital Markets)

This role focuses on architecting secure, scalable, cloud-native data platforms on AWS using Databricks, specifically for banking, investment, and capital markets workloads. The architect acts as a bridge between business and engineering, leading cloud migrations, defining deployment patterns, and ensuring regulatory compliance, data security, and performance across large-scale financial systems.
Core Responsibilities (Condensed & Impact-Oriented)
- Architect end-to-end AWS + Databricks data platforms for financial services use cases
- Design and govern cloud-native and migration architectures (re-platform, re-architect, hybrid)
- Lead secure, compliant, and scalable data lake/lakehouse implementations
- Define and standardize deployment and migration patterns
- Guide teams on best practices for data engineering, CI/CD, and IaC
- Collaborate with business, risk, security, and engineering stakeholders
- Ensure platforms align with financial regulations and audit requirements
- Produce clear architectural documentation for global reuse and support
