Job Title: Sr. Business Process Mapping Consultant

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid - 4 Days in office)

We iare looking for a Sr. Business Process Mapping Consultant who has successfully stood up or matured a Business Process Management function and knows how to move from mapping processes to driving enterprise impact. This person will lead BPMN 2.0 discovery sessions, standardize and optimize workflows aligning to Lean principles, and identify process improvement opportunities. This role requires a strategic operator who can work hands-on while influencing leaders and building a scalable process and operational excellence capability.

What You'll Do:

Enterprise Process Mapping (BPMN 2.0)
  • Lead structured process discovery workshops across business units
  • Develop current-state and future-state workflows using BPMN 2.0 standards
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and control gaps
  • Standardize modeling conventions and documentation practices
  • Establish a centralized process repository and governance framework


Practice & Capability Development
  • Design and implement a formal BPM framework
  • Build reusable templates, playbooks, and modeling standards
  • Train and upskill business analysts and functional leaders in BPMN
  • Define service intake, engagement model, and success metrics
  • Position BPM as an enterprise-level capability aligned to transformation initiatives


Process Mining
  • Explore automated process discovery and mapping technologies - planning and analysis
  • Best practices for process mining tools - people, process, technology, and outputs
  • Leveraging process mapping outputs to identify process improvement opportunities - including automation


Lean & Operational Excellence
  • Introduce Lean principles and value stream mapping
  • Identify waste and improvement opportunities across functions
  • Facilitate cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build the foundation for a Lean-focused sub-practice


Qualifications:
  • 7+ years in Business Process Management, Operational Excellence, or Process Architecture
  • Expertise in BPMN 2.0 modeling including integrating in enterprise transformation programs
  • Experience implementing or scaling a BPM function or CoE
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder influence capabilities
  • Experience with UiPath or other process mining platforms
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification
  • Background in insurance is a plus
