Senior Project Manager
Own the operational backbone of Digital Supply Chain separation, managing governance gates, coordinating ~30 product workstreams, and ensuring leadership always has a clear, credible picture of program health and decision risk across a complex, phased migration.
Core Responsibilities:
Governance & Gate Control
- Manage decision gates (Scope Lock, Design Approval, Wave Authorization) across all ~30 products; maintain risk, dependency & escalation trackers; prevent uncontrolled scope expansion.
Detailed Work Planning & Execution Tracking
- Own and maintain an activity-level work plan across all workstreams; track execution progress against milestones weekly; identify slippage early and drive corrective action before it hits the critical path.
Product Portfolio Orchestration
- Serve as the cross-functional coordination hub across all ~30 supply chain product workstreams; align product owners, architects, and IT leads across both NewCo and RemainCo during transition; manage dependency sequencing across four migration waves; resolve blockers before critical path impact.
Stakeholder Management & Communications
- Own the stakeholder communication cadence across Digital, JJT, Finance, and Ortho BU sponsors; manage alignment with NewCo and RemainCo leadership throughout separation; ensure no stakeholder is surprised at a gate review; draft and distribute decision memos, escalation notices, and separation milestone communications.
Executive Reporting
- Prepare weekly Digital LT updates; develop Steering Committee gate materials; translate product-level disposition status into business impact; clearly surface capacity gaps and unresolved decisions.
Financial & TSA Oversight
- Maintain TSA register and exit milestone tracking across product portfolio; baseline run-rate and stranded cost exposure with Finance; ensure separation design reflects financial and contractual constraints per product.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years enterprise program management
- Direct experience managing large digital product portfolios (20+ products) through separation or transition
- Supply chain domain familiarity: inventory, demand planning, supplier management, fulfillment integrations
- M&A carve-out, divestiture/separation, TSA (Transition Service Agreement) structuring, management, and exit planning at product level
- Cross-functional alignment across Digital, IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Unit stakeholders
Required Skills & Fluency
- Product-level dependency mapping across separation risk domains (data, integration, TSA, financial)
- Sequencing logic across mixed-complexity portfolio: clean-break products, shared platforms, TSA-dependent transitions
- Decision-gated program management with clear escalation and recommendation framing
- Financial literacy: run vs. one-time cost modeling, stranded cost exposure, license allocation, contract novation
- Tech fluency: SaaS/cloud product separation concepts, API-based integrations, IoT platform basics, enterprise data platforms
- Tools: Devensoft (or equivalent portfolio tracker), PowerPoint, Excel
