job summary:
We are looking for a visionary AI-Native Engineer to join our growing team in Seattle. You are an engineer who doesn't just "use" AI-you build with it. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and directing AI coding agents to build, deploy, and scale the next generation of our applications.
We are seeking a candidate who is intellectually curious and eager to grow professionally. You are the opposite of a siloed engineer; you have a broad background and have experimented with a diverse set of tools and applications. You bring a deep foundational knowledge of machine learning and are comfortable challenging existing processes to ensure we are building the most efficient, forward-thinking solutions possible.

salary: $45 - 50 per hour
work hours: 9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities
- AI Architecture & Agent Orchestration: Architect, build, and direct advanced AI coding agents. Define how these agents interact, build, and deploy software.
- End-to-End Delivery: Own the lifecycle of AI-driven applications from conception through deployment and production scaling.
- Systemic Optimization: Actively challenge current thought processes regarding ML workflows and implementation. You will identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in our AI development lifecycle.
- Cross-Tool Proficiency: Leverage a wide array of frameworks, languages, and cloud tools. You will be expected to toggle between different tech stacks and integrate diverse tools to create seamless workflows.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional team members to push the boundaries of what is possible in AI development.
qualifications:
Broad Engineering Background: You are not a siloed specialist. You have broad experience across different tools, apps, and languages, and you enjoy applying different technologies to solve unique problems.
Machine Learning Depth: You possess a strong foundation in machine learning. You understand the "how" and "why" behind models, enabling you to critically evaluate our AI strategies and challenge the status quo.
Systems Mindset (Rust): You understand the mechanics of systems programming. While deep, hands-on Rust experience is not the sole requirement, you should understand how Rust works and have the ability to "think like Rust"-prioritizing safety, concurrency, and performance.
Growth Mindset: You are passionate about the potential of AI and are constantly looking for ways to iterate, improve, and grow your own skills alongside the company.
Communication: You are able to articulate complex architectural decisions clearly and advocate for your technical direction.
