Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a critical migration initiative from on-premises Jira to Jira Cloud. This individual will drive planning, execution, and delivery of the migration while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and strong stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end migration from Jira on-prem to Jira Cloud.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, security, and business stakeholders.
Manage dependencies, technical integrations, data migration, and user access considerations.
Facilitate status meetings, provide executive-level reporting, and ensure transparent communication.
Identify risks and proactively drive resolution.
Ensure post-migration validation, adoption, and stabilization.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in technical environments.
Proven experience leading a migration from Jira on-prem to Jira Cloud (required).
Strong understanding of Jira architecture, configurations, workflows, permissions, and integrations.
PMP certification (or equivalent project management certification) preferred.
Experience working with infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Atlassian ecosystem tools (Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
Experience managing enterprise-scale SaaS migrations.
Strong Knowledge of change management best practices.

Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
