How You Contribute to The Team The SPF Cell Machine Operator is responsible for various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs according to customer and product specifications.
- Set-up and operate equipment.
- Select robot program options according to production requirements.
- Monitor workflow through heat treatment process.
- Change over and ensure proper tooling is used according to specifications.
- Unload finished product onto pallets and/or racks ensuring proper quantities are in bundles.
- Consistently meet or exceed established key performance indicators.
- Utilize computers at different points in the process to complete required tasks.
- Complete preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Complete daily clean up and 5S responsibilities.
What You Need to Succeed - High school diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Computer programming aptitude for robotic and automated equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and measurement tools.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Dependability and a willingness to learn.
- This position will frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Team members are paid
weekly. The target hourly pay range is $21.50 to $24.50 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors.
