Job Description
The Client is procuring new Care Management Organizations (CMOs) to deliver health plan benefits for the Georgia Families® program. This procurement and implementation effort represents one of the largest and most impactful initiatives in the state, affecting millions of Georgians with a mission to improve health outcomes, wellness, system performance, and operational efficiency.
In parallel, the Client is transforming legacy Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) into modern, modular, loosely coupled, and seamlessly integrated platforms that support automated data exchange and streamlined processes.
The Client is seeking a qualified Project Manager to serve full-time on a contract basis for the CMO Procurement and Implementation Project. The selected candidate will work under a Senior Project Manager while owning defined responsibilities and specialty areas. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder and technology-driven initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the Senior Project Manager with assigned project management tasks and follow leadership directives
Manage multiple project tasks on a day-to-day basis to ensure alignment with strategic program objectives
Report on project success criteria, outcomes, results metrics, testing, and deployment activities
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, estimates, and roadmaps across all project phases
Provide regular status reporting on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to leadership and stakeholders
Collaborate across technology, operations, and business teams to manage interdependencies
Coordinate with related enterprise initiatives, including MEST Program projects, Enterprise Data Management, data governance, administrative simplification, and business process automation
Work with business owners to identify gaps, risks, and concerns and document solutions
Manage project scope, change control, risks, and issue resolution
Support vendor selection and proposal evaluation processes
Serve as an internal quality control checkpoint for project deliverables
Assist in preparing progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations, and statements of work
Ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications / Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and techniques
Experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall
Proven leadership and ability to work across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, on schedule, and within budget
Experience working independently and within collaborative, cross-functional teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, and other project management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Education
BA or BS in Management, Health Administration, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience managing complex project procurements and implementations
Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification – Required
