Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for a large-scale, 14-month network transformation initiative. This role will oversee end-to-end project governance for a three-phase migration (Data Gathering, Scope Execution, and Client Testing) to transition customer connections to new data center locations.
Key Responsibilities Project Governance & Planning

Lead project initiation and formal kick-off meetings

Own and maintain the master project schedule, milestones, and deliverables

Ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and governance standards
Milestone & Delivery Management
-
Oversee staging and completion of 1,500 routers and 1,500 Cradlepoint devices
-
Track device status (staged, completed) to ensure billing milestones are met
-
Manage deployment progress against approved Method of Procedure (MOP)
Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination
-
Coordinate daily activities between telecom engineers, internal customer teams, and third-party vendors
-
Direct pilot implementations and support refinement of MOP documentation
-
Act as the primary escalation point for technical and delivery issues
Communication, Reporting & Risk Management

Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders, including resource attendance and deployment progress

Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
-
Own formal Change Management processes for scope changes beyond the original SOW
Logistics & Inventory Oversight

Coordinate high-volume equipment staging and logistics
-
Ensure devices are scanned, labeled, and shipped using customer-provided accounts
Required Technical & Domain Expertise

Network migrations including VPN tunnel migrations (1,500+), NAT space transitions, and firewall rule updates

Large-scale hardware staging (routers, Cradlepoint devices, SIM cards, PSU assembly, firmware upgrades)

Connectivity solutions including:

Dual Router / Carrier MPLS

Internet VPN with LTE backup

Cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, Equinix)
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager on large-scale network or telecom programs

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and migration projects

Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team coordination skills

Experience with Change Management, milestone tracking, and executive reporting

Ability to manage complex, high-volume deployments in a remote delivery model
