Executive Summary

We are seeking a highly specialized PeopleSoft Financial Aid expert to lead mission-critical automation and business process improvements. The ideal candidate must possess deep functional knowledge of Financial Aid business cycles and expert-level technical proficiency in the PeopleSoft Equation Engine. This role requires a professional who can work directly with University leadership and the Financial Aid department to deliver robust solutions within accelerated timelines.

Core Requirements & Technical Expertise

PeopleSoft Equation Engine Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in designing, writing, and troubleshooting complex equations to automate aid packaging, eligibility, and fiscal management.

Financial Aid Business Lifecycle: Deep understanding of the full FA lifecycle, including ISIR processing, verification, awarding/packaging, and disbursement.

Functional Configuration: Proven experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions configuration, specifically within the Financial Aid module.

Regulatory Compliance: Ability to interpret federal and institutional aid regulations and translate them into system logic.

Departmental Collaboration: Experience working as a direct liaison between IT and the Financial Aid department to gather requirements and provide functional support.

Professional Qualifications

Tight Timeline Delivery: Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines, specifically during peak aid cycles or system upgrades.

Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks in current FA processes and propose automated, scalable solutions.
