Job Description
This part-time position requires up to 14 hours per week, focusing on organizing and implementing administrative systems and procedures. The role serves as the principal source of information on the unit, project, or program.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and maintain data for preparing reports, often using a variety of computer software.
  • Prepare and maintain financial, personnel, administrative, and student records.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day communication flow within the department.
  • Compose, proofread, edit, and prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials using word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Arrange for use of facilities and plan meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  • Contribute to unit goals by accomplishing clerical or administrative duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Handle complex and confidential information proficiently.
  • Competency in using a variety of office computer software.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of email, calendar, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Prior office experience required.
Required Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supporting high-level management; friendly and collaborative; experience managing calendars and coordinating meetings.
