Position Title: 508 Tester

About the Role:

Sky Solutions is seeking an experienced 508 Tester to support quality assurance, test planning. The 508 tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, to ensure high-quality releases aligned with federal compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing to ensure that software, websites, and applications meet Section 508 compliance requirements
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to identify and resolve accessibility issues
• Create test plans and test cases for Section 508 compliance testing
• Document test results and provide feedback to the development team
• Stay up-to-date on Section 508 guidelines and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility standards are met

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with Section 508 compliance testing
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices
• Ability to create test plans and test cases
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Section 508 testing
• Experience working in a federal government environment
• Experience with automated accessibility testing tools
