RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking an experienced Senior Application & Systems Administrator with 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 platforms-primarily Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
Summary:
This role is responsible for managing and closing technical support tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring the stability and operational excellence of our collaboration and communication platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who brings strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality support in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Ticket Management & Resolution:
* Own, manage, and close support tickets related to Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams with minimal escalation
Troubleshoot complex user issues including:
* Advanced mail flow investigations, transport rules, mailbox migrations, and delegated permissions (Exchange)
* SharePoint site structure issues, workflow/automation problems, permissions modeling, content management fixes
* Teams policy conflicts, Teams/SharePoint integration issues, meeting reliability problems, and governance compliance
* Provide clear and professional communication with end users regarding progress and resolution
Platform Administration & Operational Support:
Perform advanced administration tasks across the M365 environment including:
* Exchange: mailbox policies, retention, distribution lists, monitoring, hybrid considerations
* SharePoint: site collections, permissions models, lists/libraries, lifecycle management
* Teams: policies, app permissions, compliance configurations, team/channel settings
* Monitor health, performance, and usage of M365 workloads
* Assist with tenant wide configuration, updates, and optimization initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of professional experience in systems administration or application support, with a significant focus on Microsoft 365
Strong expertise across:
* Exchange Online (mail flow, mailbox admin, distribution lists, hybrid knowledge is a plus)
* SharePoint Online (permissions, sites, content troubleshooting, governance)
* Microsoft Teams (policies, access management, troubleshooting, integration with SharePoint/Exchange)
* Demonstrated ability to resolve advanced, multi-layered issues with minimal supervision
* Comfort using Microsoft Admin Centers and PowerShell for administration and troubleshooting
* Strong communication, documentation, and customer-service capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant Microsoft certifications such as:
* MS 700 (Teams Admin Associate)
* MS 203 (Microsoft 365 Messaging Admin)
* MS 740 (Troubleshooting Microsoft Teams)
* MS 900 or AZ 900
* Advanced PowerShell scripting for reporting, automation, or admin tasks
* Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
* Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, compliance, retention, and security tools
* ITIL framework understanding (certification a plus)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
