Flutter Developer

 

Possibility for Extension? Yes 
Possibility to convert to FTE? Yes  Salary would be around 120K + 5% bonus, not much flexibility 

Wants this person to be AI fluent because the goal is to have this person to be the backup resource to their one AI developer on his team of 6.
 
His team is the main group to support groups all over the world when it comes to lexis nexis customer facing apps and then they manage the app store for the co.  Small but growing team. 

Job Description:          
What you’ll be doing: Work with peers, architects, and business stake holders to design and build mobile apps that delight our customers. Interface with other team members and technical personnel to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Conduct research and implement proofs of concept to aid other engineers and management in decision making. Keep up to date on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment. Possess the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.   
 
What you’ll need: 
Good oral and written communications skills with the ability to lead and engage in discussion with both business and technical staff.   
5+ years’ experience as a software developer on a software development team. 
Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing defect tracking, 
Trunk based development, CI/CD, etc. 
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience developing mobile applications using Flutter.  
Minimum of 5 years with DART (language in Flutter) 
Senior-level knowledge/experience applying Object Oriented programming and design principles. Successfully developed or contributed to the development of multiple commercially released apps.

Experience using the following tools: Android Studio, Java (or Kotlin), XCode (Objective-C or Swift).  Web application development skills are a plus: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, REST, Java EE, and Spring.  
 
Experience using Azure DevOps and Jenkins are a PLUS. Experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). 
 
Familiarity with the Apple App Store and Google Play app store processes and procedures. 
 
BS Computer Science or equivalent experience required
