Job Title: Azure Cloud Application Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Application Architect to lead solution architecture, project delivery, and client-facing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Cloud, API/Microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and modern application frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and solution design for omnichannel systems of engagement.
- Define and implement scalable, secure, and highly available application architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Design and develop API-driven and Microservices-based architectures.
- Provide technical leadership across project delivery, solutioning, and client engagements.
- Map existing application components and functionalities to appropriate Azure services and develop cloud migration strategies.
- Evaluate Azure services based on their capabilities, advantages, limitations, performance, scalability, and cost.
- Guide teams in implementing cloud-native development principles, containerization, and serverless architectures.
- Work with development teams to establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Communicate technical solutions and the business benefits of Azure services effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise software architecture principles, security requirements, and scalability needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience as an Application Architect / Cloud Architect with hands-on Azure Cloud experience.
- Strong understanding of API and Microservices architecture.
- At least 3+ years of experience implementing technologies such as:
- Node.js
- Spring Boot
- Spring Cloud
- Netflix OSS
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development.
- Experience with containers and containerized applications.
- Good understanding of serverless computing and Azure serverless services.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and their appropriate use cases.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization of existing applications.
- Good understanding of JavaScript and CSS.
- Knowledge of Angular.js/Angular is a plus.
- Strong communication, solutioning, architecture, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
