Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year

Our client is a rapidly growing entertainment startup building the next generation of content and data infrastructure for global creators and enterprises. The organization is modernizing its backend systems to improve scalability, automation, and efficiency across content management workflows.
The Lead Engineer focused on Content Management will own the backend development of a new Laravel-based platform, designed to manage high-volume file uploads, metadata, and partner integrations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable APIs, modernize legacy systems, and deliver a reliable foundation for future product innovation.

Job Details
6+ years of backend development experience, including technical leadership or ownership.
Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel
Experience with large file processing, S3 storage, and queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, AWS SQS)
Deep understanding of REST APIs and system integration best practices
Experience modernizing or rebuilding legacy content systems
Experience working with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
