Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Authorization Integration Engineer to support the integration, testing, and validation of authorization services across enterprise applications and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with Application Architects, Security Teams, and Data Engineers to understand application architectures, implement authorization integration patterns, and validate access-control policies using REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Application Architects and technical stakeholders to understand application design, architecture, and security requirements.

  • Evaluate application integration patterns and determine how authorization services should be invoked across different application architectures.

  • Test and validate authorization policies using REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

  • Troubleshoot authorization and policy evaluation issues by analyzing API requests, responses, and access-control scenarios.

  • Support the integration of authorization frameworks with enterprise applications and cloud-based platforms.

  • Work with data engineering teams to understand data platform architectures and authorization requirements.

  • Support integration with modern data and analytics platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

  • Ensure authorization services are properly integrated into application workflows and API interactions.

  • Collaborate across application development, security, and data engineering teams to resolve integration challenges.

  • Document integration patterns, test scenarios, policy validation results, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and API security concepts.

  • Experience with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.

  • Ability to analyze API requests and responses to troubleshoot authorization and access-control issues.

  • Understanding of enterprise application architectures and application integration patterns.

  • Experience collaborating with application architects, security teams, and technical stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

  • Understanding of cloud-based enterprise environments and security integration.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating centralized authorization services or policy-based access-control frameworks.

  • Familiarity with cloud security and enterprise identity and access management (IAM).

  • Exposure to data access governance and authorization across analytics platforms.

  • Experience supporting application onboarding and authorization framework adoption.
