Role: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Description:
Software Engineer role to perform development and support of the required priorities across Treasury Funding technology applications. The role would focus on development of new capabilities, enhancements of existing capabilities & maintain support across the applications. The role would need to provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource and export in UI as well as server-side technologies. Would drive project or solution and partner with various external teams including external developers, business, and deployment teams, as needed.
Required skills and experience:
- 7+ years of experience
- SQL Server, API development, .NET, Autosys
- Strong facilitation and communication skills - both verbal and written is a must, the role would would require written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications or configure application systems and services with a working knowledge of developing and maintaining .Net multi-threaded windows service
- Hands-on knowledge of ETL, Perl scripts
- Well versed in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools like JIRA/Rally, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory etc
- Experience with Agile development & ability to work with global delivery team to implement the technology solutions
- Ability to identify and triage around issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives; Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
- Knowledge of Application security standards and application management policy/standards
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or job-related field or equivalent experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Exposure to process testing domain in desired
- Performance tuning of ETL routines is a desired skill
- Infrastructure knowledge (NPT remediation, etc) is a plus
- Exposure to high volume data loads is a plus
- Knowledge and experience of working on Oracle is a plus,
- Familiarity with Jira and with familiarity CI/CD technologies is a plus
