About the Role

Google Cloud Platform Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Dallas, TX Hybrid - Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

• Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in Google Cloud Platform across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects.
• Work closely with security to monitor the company s cloud privacy.
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company.
• Support cross-functional teams with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.
• Support scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing.
• Support network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring.
• Assessment and demonstration of new technologies; capacity planning; performance tuning.
• Experience leading Google Cloud Platform Cloud micro services delivery at scale, i.e. responsible for:
• Deliverables.
• Technical and architecture oversight.
• CI/CD pipelines. Green/Blue deployments.

Qualifications:

• Strong IT experience and Strong Experience of architecture in designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform.
• Google Cloud Certified.
• Provision Google Cloud Platform resources via terraform.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Google Cloud Load Balancing, Storage, Security, Monitoring, etc.).
• Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACL's, cloud IaaS components on Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid foundation in programming languages like Java, SQL, Python or Node.js.
• Expertise with containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewall)

Required Skills:
