Job Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Manager – Pharmacy Technology, preferablyLong-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy to provide day-to-day technical leadership fordevelopment teams and drive delivery across multiple concurrent applicationmodernization, automation, integration, and technology initiatives.

The Technical Manager will coordinate closely with Project Managers,Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, developers, QA teams, businessstakeholders, and senior leadership to align priorities, remove deliveryimpediments, maintain development velocity, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

�       Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, andaccountability for development teams across multiple initiatives.

�       Coordinate technical delivery with ProjectManagers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, QA, and businessstakeholders.

�       Translate business priorities and technicalrequirements into actionable development plans.

�       Drive Agile delivery practices, including sprintplanning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.

�       Identify and remove technical and deliveryimpediments that impact team velocity.

�       Monitor development progress, quality, risks,dependencies, and delivery commitments.

�       Partner with architects and engineering teams ontechnical solutions, application modernization, integrations, and automationinitiatives.

�       Ensure development teams follow establishedarchitecture, engineering, security, coding, testing, and deployment standards.

�       Facilitate technical discussions and resolvecross-team dependencies and issues.

�       Support estimation, capacity planning, resourceallocation, and delivery forecasting.

�       Communicate technical status, risks, issues,dependencies, and decisions to project and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

�       8 years of experience leading software developmentor engineering teams

�       Strong experience managing delivery acrossmultiple concurrent technology initiatives.

�       Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesand software development lifecycle (SDLC).

�       Experience working with Business Analysts, ProductOwners, Project Managers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.

�       Demonstrated ability to remove deliveryimpediments and drive teams toward committed outcomes.

�       Strong technical understanding of modernapplication development, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud technologies.

�       Strong communication, stakeholder management,problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

�       Pharmacy technology experience, preferably withinLong-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy.

�       Experience supporting pharmacy management systems,pharmacy operations, billing/claims, medication workflows, or pharmacyautomation.

�       Experience with application modernization, legacysystem transformation, and integration initiatives.

�       Experience with AS/400 / IBM i or other legacypharmacy platforms.

�       Experience with .NET, APIs, cloud platforms,microservices, data platforms, and enterprise integrations.

�       Experience leading distributed/onshore-offshoredevelopment teams.

�       Experience in healthcare or other regulatedenvironments.
