Job Description:

  • 5-10 years implementation experience as BY Factory Planner in assisting and stabilizing clients factory planner solution.
  • HANDS-ON Configuration and designing and integration experience is a MUST.

Implement and optimize Blue Yonder solutions: Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Blue Yonder software for customers. This includes modules for Production Planning, Scheduling, Demand Planning, and Enterprise Supply Planning.

  • Analyze business needs: Work directly with clients to understand their supply chain, manufacturing processes, and technical requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications for the software.
  • Develop factory plans: Use the software to create and maintain feasible factory production schedules that balance factory throughput, inventory, and fulfillment performance.
  • Balance constraints: Use Blue Yonder's capabilities to balance customer demand with real-world constraints such as materials, capacity, and due dates.
  • Manage production workflows: Coordinate the flow of products through the factory, including equipment, raw materials, and labor needs.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or manufacturing is typically required. Experience implementing (or similar APS platforms like JDA) is often mandatory.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Functional expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including production planning and scheduling.
    • Proficiency in configuring and delivering supply chain planning solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Technical knowledge:
    • Familiarity with Blue Yonder solutions such as Production Planning and Scheduling, Demand Planning, and Enterprise Supply Planning.
    • Experience with scripting languages like SQL or Python for advanced analytics is a plus.
    • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
