· A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software testing, of which at least 3-5 years leading testing efforts for EHR or large health-care IT system implementations.
· At least 2 full end-to-end EHR implementations (preferably inpatient hospital/behavioral health) where you were responsible for test strategy, test planning, automation oversight, defect management, UAT and go-live support.
· Demonstrated experience leading a testing team of 5-10+ testers, across multiple facilities or sites, coordinating test schedules, dependencies, cross-functional stakeholders.
· Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, TestRail), automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT), defect tracking/reporting dashboards.
· Strong experience with requirements traceability (linking business/clinical requirements to test cases to results) and governance artifacts (test plans, test reports, deliverable acceptance forms)
· Health-care domain experience (ideally inpatient behavioral health or forensic hospital setting) with knowledge of workflows (registration, pharmacy, nursing/psychiatric care, billing, lab interfaces).
· Experience coordinating load/stress/integration/regression testing for large systems (e.g., thousands of users, multiple hospitals).
· Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, CPHIMS (or equivalent), Agile Tester or ScrumMaster, and/or PMP.
· Excellent collaboration and communication skills – able to work with clinicians, business leads, IT architects, project managers, trainers – and deliver testing status to executive leadership.
· Strong risk-management orientation: able to identify risks in test coverage, schedule slippages, high-severity defects, and drive mitigation plans.
· Comfortable in a regulated environment (privacy/security requirements, accreditation, forensic/patient safety implications) and delivering high-quality deliverables under tight timelines.
