Role: Microsoft 365 Copilot & Purview Architect

Location: Remote (US-based) with regular travel to Sacramento, CA

PREFERENCE for Northern CA / West Coast / Mountain Time Zone.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years working with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise or consulting environment; strong experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive administration, and security/identity basics (AAD/Entra).
• Demonstrated success designing and deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot for business productivity at significant scale (thousands of users), ideally including Teams and Outlook scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview: data classification, sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention, and compliance concepts, with at least one sizeable deployment.
• Proven ability to run customer-facing workshops, conduct technical and business discovery, and drive a room of senior stakeholders toward decisions.
• Strong consulting soft skills: structured communication, expectation management, risk articulation, and the ability to explain AI/security tradeoffs to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working under accelerated timelines where traditional phase-gated rollouts had to be compressed or reordered.
• Willingness to travel to Sacramento and other California locations periodically for workshops, milestones, and key stakeholder meetings.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to other Copilot products (e.g., Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot) and the broader Microsoft AI ecosystem, with the ability to clearly distinguish them for customers.
• Experience partnering with formal change management teams (e.g., running joint adoption planning, understanding change champion / train-the-trainer models).
