Lead Oracle Functional Consultant with deep expertise
in
Procurement and Inventory Management across both
Oracle E-BusinessSuite (EBS) and
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. This is a high-impact role
supporting a major enterprise-wide migration from EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud,
focusing on Procurement and related Inventory operations.
You will serve as the functional lead for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), guiding
solution design, validating migration activities, and ensuring that the
organization transitions smoothly into a modern, scalable Fusion Cloud
environment.

What You'll Do Lead EBS Fusion Cloud Migration- Own functional leadership for Procurement & Inventory workstreams during the migration.
- Drive end-to-end activities: fit-gap analysis, data mapping, testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Ensure accurate mapping of legacy EBS modules (Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, Supplier tools) to Fusion equivalents (Self-Service Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Portal, Procurement Contracts, Fusion Inventory).
? Functional Design & Functional Design- Lead the design and configuration of Procurement and Inventory processes across both platforms.
- Create and validate functional specs for integrations, extensions, reports, and data conversions.
- Ensure designs follow best practices and align with long-term architectural goals.
- Oversee Procurement and Inventory data mapping, cleansing, and migration verification.
- Review and refine templates for POs, agreements (CPA/BPA), and supplier onboarding.
- Coordinate cross-functional touchpoints with AP, GL, Finance, Supplier Portal, and Inventory teams.
Quality Assurance & Vendor Governance - Challenge implementation partners on design, configurations, and process alignment.
- Lead SIT/UAT cycles for Procurement & Inventory, including PO lifecycle, receiving, and supplier workflows.
- Approve cutover readiness for open POs, agreements, supplier onboarding, and receiving transactions.
Training & Change Support - Develop training materials, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for business and technical teams.
- Support hypercare and stabilization post-go-live, with continuous improvement recommendations.
What You Bring Required- 10+ years as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands-on expertise in EBS Procurement & Inventory and Fusion Procurement & Inventory.
- Deep knowledge of P2P processes: CPAs, BPAs, PO lifecycle, approvals, receiving, and supplier collaboration.
- Experience leading 2+ full-cycle EBS Fusion Cloud migrations.
- Ability to challenge vendors, influence stakeholders, and drive solution quality.
- Excellent communication, analysis, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have- Oracle Cloud certifications (Procurement or Inventory).
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Familiarity with additional Fusion modules: Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, Procurement Contracts.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
