Intune Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Device Management (MDM/MAM): Enroll, configure, and secure corporate and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) devices using Microsoft Intune
• Security & Compliance: Create, deploy, and monitor compliance policies, BitLocker, firewall settings, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Application Deployment: Package, distribute, and update applications across various platforms
• Deployment Methods: Utilize Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning and manage device updates via Windows Update for Business
• Identity & Access: Integrate with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for conditional access and role-based access control
• Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve enrollment, policy, and app deployment issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Platform Knowledge: Proficiency in managing Windows, iOS, macOS, and Android devices
• Scripting: Experience with PowerShell or Microsoft Graph API for automation
• Security Focus: Understanding of security baselines and data protection policies

Education/Certifications:

• Requires a bachelors degree in IT, or equivalent experience, with certifications like Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
