Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will provide leadership and oversight for enterprise-wide IT support services supporting the National Defense University (NDU). The role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing IT operations while supporting evolving mission requirements.
  • Managing and overseeing enterprise IT operations and support services
  • Ensuring 24x7x365 system availability, security, reliability, and connectivity
  • Supporting network operations, infrastructure, cloud services, mobile devices, AV systems, SharePoint, storage, backup, and application support
  • Monitoring and resolving network and system issues while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and policies
  • Managing infrastructure and application vulnerability remediation efforts
  • Developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), staffing plans, quality control plans, and monthly status reports
  • Leading program management activities using industry best practices such as PMBOK, ITIL, Agile, and Design Thinking methodologies
  • Coordinating project planning, performance metrics tracking, reporting, resource management, and strategic IT initiatives
  • Supporting a diverse NDU stakeholder community consisting of faculty, staff, students, and remote users worldwide
  • The environment supports a user base ranging from approximately 1,000 to 2,000 personnel across onsite and remote operations.

Certification Requirement:

  • CISSP.
  • PMP.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active Top Secret.
