Summary
We are seeking a Network Architect 4 to oversee the planning, design, and security of our enterprise network environment.
Location: Richmond, VA 23219
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days ON-SITE each week required)
Interview Process: In-Person Interview
Note: Parking is not provided for contractors at this location.
Core Responsibilities
- Design & Configure: Lead the architecture of enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Cloud Integration: Align on-premises network architecture with cloud ecosystems.
- Security & Performance: Ensure the network meets strict organizational security policies and performance standards.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Analyze traffic patterns, monitor network health, and plan for future scalability.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate topology diagrams, IP schemes, and deliver network health metrics.
- Tier 3 Support: Provide expert-level diagnosis and resolution for escalated connectivity issues.
What You Need to Bring
Required Expertise:
- 7+ Years: Enterprise LAN / WAN / VPN / Wireless design and configuration
- 7+ Years: Network security architecture and traffic trend analysis
- 7+ Years: Comprehensive network documentation and performance reporting
- 5+ Years: Cloud Networking (AWS or Azure)
Highly Desired:
- 5+ Years: Server Infrastructure experience
