Summary

Description:

At Aspirion, our mission is simple and meaningful: to help healthcare providers get paid accurately, quickly, and transparently for the care they deliver. By combining deep human expertise with advanced technology and AI, we are helping make healthcare more affordable and accessible for everyone.

For more than two decades, Aspirion has been a market leader in revenue cycle services, specializing in some of the most complex and high impact areas of reimbursement. From challenging denials and zero balance reviews to aged accounts receivable, motor vehicle accident claims, workers' compensation, Veterans Affairs, and out of state Medicaid, we take on the work that others cannot solve and deliver real results for our clients. At the heart of that success is our team. Our teammates are the foundation of everything we do. With more than 1,400 individuals across the organization, we are united by a shared commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes and creating meaningful impact for the hospitals and health systems we serve.

We are building a results driven environment where high performance, collaboration, and continuous growth are expected and supported. The people who thrive here bring a growth mindset, stay open to new technology, and collaborate across teams to solve problems. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented and driven team, engage with innovative technology, and play a direct role in solving complex challenges that matter.

Joining Aspirion means more than taking a job. It means being part of a team that is shaping the future of healthcare operations while making a measurable difference for providers and patients alike.

About the Role

We\'re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering organization and help build, automate, and scale the cloud platform powering our healthcare technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, improving developer productivity, and driving cloud modernization initiatives.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you\'ll work closely with Software Engineering, Product, Security, and Operations teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure. You\'ll lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives, optimize CI/CD pipelines, improve platform reliability, mentor fellow engineers, and help shape our long-term cloud strategy.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is passionate about automation, continuous improvement, technical leadership, and building platforms that enable engineering teams to move faster with confidence.

What You\'ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and consistency.
  • Partner with software engineers to streamline application deployments and operational workflows.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance controls.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to the engineering platform.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture decisions, including future cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching on infrastructure, automation, cloud engineering, and operational excellence.
  • Promote engineering best practices through documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical leader, helping establish standards, improve engineering processes, and influence platform direction.
Requirements:

What We\'re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Extensive experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Experience designing and supporting modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience working with Git-based source control and automated deployment workflows.
  • Experience monitoring cloud applications and infrastructure using observability platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking, identity management, cloud security, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience troubleshooting production environments and improving operational reliability.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives, and influencing engineering best practices without direct management authority.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Experience designing or participating in cloud migration initiatives.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
  • Experience administering Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
  • Familiarity with cost optimization and cloud governance practices.

Nice to Have

  • Ability to read, troubleshoot, and make small changes to C# and TypeScript applications.
  • Experience supporting platform engineering or internal developer platforms.
  • Microsoft Azure, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or related cloud certifications.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you\'ll help create a highly automated, secure, and scalable cloud platform that enables engineering teams to deliver software faster and more reliably. You\'ll drive continuous improvements in infrastructure, deployment automation, operational excellence, and cloud architecture while helping shape the future of our engineering platform.

Success also means elevating the capabilities of the team by mentoring engineers, sharing knowledge, improving engineering standards, and fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.
