Job Description:
Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Advanced GenAI Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agent frameworks, Python development, and cloud technologies. This role involves building scalable AI applications that integrate with enterprise systems while ensuring security, performance, and governance.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI development
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini, Mistral)
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks
- Experience implementing RAG using vector databases
- Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Weaviate, or Milvus
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and AI model optimization
- Experience building AI Agents and multi-agent workflows
- REST API development using FastAPI or Flask
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI governance and responsible AI practices
- Knowledge of financial services or banking domain
- Experience with MLOps and model deployment
- Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, or Snowflake
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation frameworks for LLM applications
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise GenAI applications
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines and AI agents
- Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications and APIs
- Develop scalable backend services using Python
- Fine-tune prompts and optimize AI model performance
- Work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
- Ensure AI solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and production deployments
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
