Job Description:

Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr

The Senior Application Developer Informatica ETL is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows and data warehouse solutions.
This role collaborates with business analysts and insurance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and performance optimization.
The position may also include team leadership responsibilities, including mentoring developers and coordinating cross-functional activities.

Experience:

5 10+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica ETL development.
Experience working in the insurance domain with knowledge of policy, claims, and regulatory data.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica IICS.
Build and optimize data pipelines on Yellowbrick or similar MPP data warehouse platforms.
Collaborate with business analysts and insurance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with insurance regulatory standards.
Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of ETL jobs and SQL queries.
Document ETL processes, data mappings, and system configurations.
Provide production support and resolve data-related issues promptly.
Lead and mentor a team of ETL and data warehouse developers, if applicable.
Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Act as a point of escalation for technical and delivery challenges.

Should Have:

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and cloud-native data tools.
Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
Insurance certifications or domain-specific training.

Skills:

Strong experience with Yellowbrick or similar MPP data warehouse platforms.
Proficiency in SQL, data profiling, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
