Summary

Position Overview

The Senior Salesforce Enterprise Architect applies advanced management skills and deep functional and technical expertise to support complex Salesforce enterprise initiatives. This role is responsible for defining and applying enterprise architecture principles that align Salesforce solutions with business strategy, processes, and information technology objectives.

The architect will lead enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture efforts, including requirements analysis, needs assessments, solution selection, integration strategy, and lifecycle sustainability. This role also provides subject matter expertise in enterprise strategy, solution architecture governance, and the alignment of business processes with technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Define and apply Salesforce enterprise architecture principles across complex programs
Lead enterprise strategy, architecture development, and architecture management initiatives
Design and re-engineer business processes aligned with Salesforce solutions
Support investment decision-making and solution architecture governance
Lead requirements analysis, needs assessments, and integration strategy selection
Ensure alignment of business strategy with IT and Salesforce application architecture
Provide technical and executive-level guidance to stakeholders
Support long-term lifecycle sustainability of Salesforce solutions

Required Skills

Advanced knowledge of Salesforce enterprise architecture standards and technologies
Expertise in complex business analysis, solution selection, and systems design
Strong experience with Salesforce application integration and enterprise platforms
Ability to lead architecture discussions across technical and business audiences

Additional Required Skills

Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview and G5 Compliance capabilities
Proven success implementing compliance in regulated environments, including:

CJIS
HIPAA
FedRAMP High

Strong understanding of:

Zero Trust Architecture
Conditional Access
Microsoft Entra ID governance

Experience supporting AI governance or Responsible AI initiatives
Proficiency with:

Microsoft Graph API
PowerShell
KQL (for compliance automation and reporting)

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and executive audiences

Required Experience

7+ years of experience applying Enterprise Architecture principles specifically for Salesforce applications
5+ years of experience in a lead or senior architecture role

Additional Experience

5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 compliance and security architecture deployment

Education Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis

Required Certifications

Candidates must possess one or more of the following certifications:

SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator
SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect
MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator
SC-300: Identity & Access Administrator
CIPP/US or CIPP/G: Certified Information Privacy Professional
CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor (or equivalent)
