Our client is seeking a detail-oriented IT Asset & Support Specialist to manage and maintain the organization s IT hardware and software inventory while supporting day-to-day IT operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring all technology assets are properly tracked, maintained, and supported through active service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware, software, and peripherals
- Track lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
- Ensure all IT equipment is covered by active support and maintenance agreements
- Coordinate with vendors to manage warranties, renewals, and service contracts
- Provide technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of IT equipment
- Participate in and support IT projects, with opportunities to lead smaller initiatives
- Maintain documentation related to IT assets, systems, and processes
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to user requests and issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations
Required Qualifications:
- 1 3 years of experience in IT support, asset management, or related role
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, and peripherals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IT asset management tools or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Exposure to vendor management or contract tracking
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, systems, devices)
- Experience supporting or participating in IT projects
Salary/Rate: $20-$25/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
