Application Services Delivery Management
- Lead the delivery of Application Management Services (AMS), ensuring seamless operation of enterprise applications including SAP (S/4HANA, Fiori, Cloud).
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance and stability while minimizing downtime.
- Align application performance with core manufacturing functions such as production, supply chain, and inventory management.
SAP & Enterprise Technology Leadership
- Oversee integration and deployment of SAP and non-SAP applications, including cloud-based solutions.
- Recommend and implement SAP enhancements that drive innovation, digital transformation, and cost savings.
- Champion automation and digital initiatives using the latest SAP technologies.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, including directors and C-level executives.
- Conduct regular service reviews and ensure alignment between business goals and application performance.
- Build trusted client relationships and maintain a deep understanding of client challenges and goals.
Business Growth & Opportunity Farming
- Identify and pursue new service opportunities within existing accounts, especially around SAP and enterprise applications.
- Uncover gaps in client application portfolios and propose innovative, tailored solutions.
- Support proposal creation and solution design to meet evolving client needs.
Financial & P&L Management
- Own financials for AMS engagements, ensuring profitable delivery within budget and scope.
- Manage resource allocation, control costs, and analyze financial health of each account.
- Drive service expansion and growth strategies based on account performance.
Business Development & Pursuits
- Lead SAP-focused pursuits including RFP responses, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and solutioning teams to align enterprise applications with client expectations.
- Provide SAP subject matter expertise to win new AMS contracts.
Innovation & Solutioning
- Conduct innovation workshops to explore emerging SAP solutions (S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BTP, AI/ML, etc.).
- Align SAP roadmaps with broader digital transformation strategies.
- Lead automation and AI initiatives to improve operations and cost efficiency.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Manage internal teams of consultants, analysts, and application experts.
- Assign resources effectively and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Foster talent growth through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery models and application processes.
- Ensure SAP AMS best practices are maintained and performance gaps are proactively resolved.
- Implement feedback loops to improve the client experience and application efficiency.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Track and report KPIs including SLA adherence, system uptime, and client satisfaction.
- Deliver regular reports to leadership outlining service health and financial metrics.
- Take corrective action to maintain performance and address service issues swiftly.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 10–15+ years in application delivery/AMS, with 5+ years in a leadership role focused on SAP.
- Strong background managing SAP environments (S/4HANA, Fiori, Cloud Platform).
- Experience supporting manufacturing clients and related business processes (production, supply chain, inventory).
- Proven track record in growing client accounts, driving profitability, and managing P&L.
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of SAP ecosystems and integration with cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with non-SAP enterprise applications and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with ITIL, service management frameworks, and performance monitoring tools.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Excellent client-facing skills and ability to work with C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
- Proven team leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics).
- ITIL or PMP/Agile certifications.
