Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Siemens NX / Teamcenter Developer with strong hands-on experience in NX Open/NXOpen customization, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and NXManager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CAD design applications, analytical geometry constructs, and engineering software development.

The consultant will work closely with engineering customers to understand business requirements, perform root-cause analysis, develop and test technical solutions, resolve application issues, manage technical risks, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens NX / NXOpen / NX Open

• Experience with Siemens NX Open Toolkit

• Strong NX customization and development experience

• Experience with Teamcenter and NXManager

• Experience working with CAD design applications

• Knowledge of analytical geometry and geometric constructs

• Strong programming experience with C++ and Java

• Experience with Siemens GRIP programming language

• Experience with Perl and Shell scripting

• Experience with Fortran is required

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

• Experience with GitHub / Git

• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments

• Strong software development, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Siemens NX Open / NXOpen

• Customize and enhance Siemens NX functionality based on engineering requirements

• Develop integrations and customizations involving Teamcenter / NXManager

• Work with CAD models, engineering applications, and analytical geometry constructs

• Analyze application issues and perform detailed root-cause analysis

• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy software solutions

• Work closely with engineering users and customers to understand business requirements

• Troubleshoot complex NX and Teamcenter application issues

• Develop scripts and automation using Perl and Shell scripting

• Participate in code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and technical documentation

• Use GitHub/Git for source-code management and collaboration

• Work across Linux and Windows environments

• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies

• Propose and implement process improvements

• Take ownership of assigned technical problems and drive issues through resolution

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
