AWS Developer

We are seeking a skilled AWS Developer with 3–4 years of experience to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate has strong experience with backend development, cloud infrastructure, serverless solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Build RESTful APIs and serverless applications using AWS Lambda.

• Implement robust backend functionality and integrate with frontend systems.

AWS Services & Infrastructure

• Work with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM, Cognito, SQS, SNS.

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud applications.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or similar tools.

• Collaborate with DevOps to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed applications.

• Implement automated testing and deployment processes.

Security & Best Practices

• Follow AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, network policies).

• Ensure compliance with cloud governance and organizational policies.

• Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.

Collaboration

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams.

• Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation for AWS applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–4 years of experience in backend/cloud development, preferably with AWS.

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar languages.

• Hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB).

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and serverless architecture.

• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (AWS Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate).

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging services (SNS, SQS, Kinesis).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail).

• Exposure to cost optimization strategies in AWS
