Overview:
Alabama Power is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technology projects that support key business operations. This role drives project planning, Agile delivery, cross-functional coordination, and clear communication across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including scope, planning, milestones, and execution.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Break down complex initiatives into clear, prioritized work for technical and product teams.
- Track and communicate status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Develop mitigation plans and maintain project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of IT project management experience.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
