Performance Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a Performance Engineer to support testing and optimization of enterprise-scale applications. This role focuses on ensuring systems meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards prior to production deployment.
Top Skills & Technologies

• JMeter for performance, functional, and load testing
• LoadRunner for simulating user activity and analyzing system behavior
• Dynatrace for monitoring, test execution control, and diagnostics
• Understanding of middleware, databases, and web technologies in distributed environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Execute performance, load, and functional testing using industry-standard tools
• Gather performance and capacity requirements from technical teams
• Conduct iterative testing cycles and optimize based on results
• Analyze system behavior under load and compare against expected outcomes
• Produce clear performance reports and communicate findings to engineering teams
• Partner with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to implement improvements
• Support scalability planning and contribute to capacity management initiatives
• Ensure testing aligns with organizational standards around risk, compliance, and quality

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.24 - $73.68/hr.
