Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician onsite in Corvallis, OR. This position is day shift, Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

Summary:
This is a hands-on role working with advanced custom-built manufacturing and test equipment used in research and development environments. We're looking for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and keeping critical equipment operating at peak performance. Whether you have a strong electrical troubleshooting background or experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on custom-built equipment
* Partner with engineers to test, debug, and improve new and existing equipment
* Monitor and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems
* Create or modify equipment control programs using modern command languages
* Perform equipment testing to verify proper functionality
* Support preventive maintenance and calibration activities
* Ensure instruments and systems remain properly calibrated and operational
* Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, specifications, and test procedures
* Help develop equipment maintenance and operational documentation
* Track spare parts inventory and support equipment readiness initiatives
* Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and performance

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, including systems operating at 50 volts or greater
* Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing, laboratory, or electronic test equipment
* Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment
* Experience performing calibration and preventive maintenance activities
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Commitment to safety and quality standards
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
* Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate degree, technical certification, military training, or equivalent hands-on experience in: Electronics Technology; Mechatronics; Industrial Maintenance; Electrical Engineering Technology; Mechanical Technology
* Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments
* Experience working in R&D, semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments
* Occupational safety or industrial maintenance training

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
