Summary
Title: Technical BA lead level Candidate
Location: Remote with key-phase onsite work in Dauphin County / Middletown, PA
Work Arrangement: Primarily Remote but must come onsite when needed
Duration: 12 months
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform Business Analyst duties for the planning and requirements-gathering phases of the project.
- Facilitate meetings with business leaders to elicit As-Is process flows, requirements, and other information needed to reengineer business processes within UBOS, with emphasis on financial posting, payments, refunds, and financial reconciliations.
- Conduct reviews of current business processes against best practices to determine where business process or system changes are necessary.
- Recommend process improvements and opportunities that support UBOS objectives.
- Translate business requirements into Service Blueprints, Business Process Flow diagrams, Agile Features, User Stories, and supporting technical specifications.
- Enter and track Blueprints, Process Flows, Features, User Stories, and related documentation in Azure DevOps.
- Visually model information obtained during elicitation meetings.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and define KPIs, including business rules, ownership, data sources, and optimal visualization approaches.
- Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Support end-user and stakeholder training and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Lead and participate in project team activities related to enterprise systems, while working independently to complete assigned tasks.
Required Technical Skills
- Mid-level experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
- Mid-level experience as a BA on projects of various size and subject matter within the government/public sector, ideally in at least 3 of the technical areas in scope.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, and Figma.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus Microsoft ADO Testing.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project.
- Experience supporting enterprise business solutions, especially financial systems projects.
- Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
- Experience with modern CRM platforms; Microsoft CE CRM.
- Experience with modern ERP platforms; SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
