Required Qualifications

Testing & Quality Assurance

• 5+ years of experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.

• 5+ years of experience analyzing requirements, Azure DevOps user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop effective and reusable test cases, including positive, negative, and boundary testing.

• 5+ years of experience developing and documenting test plans, test strategies, and testing approaches.

• 5+ years of experience performing API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Client, REST Assured, or similar technologies.

• Hands-on experience automating web applications using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or comparable automation frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology or related field.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes, including:

  • Quality Assurance (QA)

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • System Integration Testing (SIT)

  • Accessibility Testing

  • Post-Deployment Validation

  • Data Conversion Testing

• Experience developing testing reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.

• Experience creating, acquiring, and managing test data.

• Experience with ADA/accessibility compliance testing tools such as AccVerify, JAWS, or similar tools.

• Experience developing environment-specific test suites across DEV, QAT, UAT, and PRE-PROD environments and integrating them with application lifecycle management processes.

• Experience identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking defects using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools, including test scripting, scenario execution, results analysis, and identification of system bottlenecks.

Automation & Technical Skills

• Strong experience writing clean, maintainable, reusable, and object-oriented Java code for test automation.

• Experience creating clear and effective Gherkin scenarios using Given/When/Then syntax.

• Experience implementing Step Definitions in Java.

• Experience writing SQL and PL/SQL queries.

• Ability to create and execute SQL queries, including SELECT statements and JOINs, for test data setup and validation against Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.

• Proficiency with Git for source control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and team-based development workflows.

• Experience using Eclipse as a development environment.

• Experience with the TestNG framework, including test execution and test-skipping logic.

• Experience with API testing technologies such as Postman, REST Assured, REST Client, or Playwright APIRequestContext.

• Additional experience with JMeter or LoadRunner, particularly advanced workload modeling and CI/CD-integrated performance testing, is preferred.

Agile & Collaboration

• Experience actively participating in an Agile/Scrum development environment, including standard Scrum ceremonies.

• Strong ability to collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate testing approaches.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a fast-paced Agile team.

• Strong ability to communicate testing results, defects, risks, dependencies, and quality concerns to developers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Security & Compliance

• Understanding of the Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC) and its relationship to software quality and testing.
