Job Description

Client is seeking an experienced Automation Tester with ETL Testing expertise to support a critical data migration initiative from DB2 to MongoDB. The role will focus on backend automation testing, database validation, and ETL pipeline testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform backend automation testing to validate data migration from DB2 to MongoDB
Design and execute automated test scripts for ETL pipelines and data validation
Validate data transformations, completeness, and accuracy during ETL processing
Work closely with data engineers and developers to identify and resolve defects
Execute complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target data consistency
Support automation efforts throughout the migration lifecycle

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

5+ years of experience in backend automation testing
Strong hands-on automation testing experience using Selenium
Proven ETL testing experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
Hands-on experience with automation testing in healthcare applications
Strong SQL querying skills (joins, result set validation, data comparisons)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with MongoDB and DB2 data validation
Exposure to data migration projects
Familiarity with healthcare data standards and compliance
