Job Details
Manager, Client Accounting & Advisory Services
Join our growing advisory team as a Manager, playing a key leadership role in delivering high-quality accounting support and strategic financial insights to clients. You'll oversee full-cycle accounting operations, serve as the primary client contact, and guide junior accountants through development and performance excellence.
What You'll Do
Client Service
Manage full-cycle client engagements with technical expertise across finance and accounting
Facilitate discovery meetings, assess client needs, and build accounting solutions
Produce accurate financial statements and financial analysis
Evaluate and leverage client-facing accounting technologies
Partner with senior leadership to develop recommendations on technical accounting issues
Business Development
Identify new opportunities within existing client relationships
Design and scope client solutions; develop statements of work
Participate in networking events and industry groups
Articulate advisory service offerings to prospects and contacts
Team Development
Supervise, review, and provide feedback on work produced by junior staff
Support recruiting and onboarding of entry-level team members
Foster accountability and a culture open to change
Project Management
Manage engagement billing, collections, and key financial metrics
Oversee client satisfaction and engagement performance
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
5+ years of relevant experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
CPA preferred; consultative or advisory background a plus
Proficiency in Excel, accounting software (e.g. cloud-based platforms), and BI/data visualization tools
Strong communication, relationship management, and project management skil
